About Hurricane Prep Guide

Hurricane Prep Guide is an independent website that helps households organize storm preparation: review supplies they already own, find gaps, write a communication plan, and locate official information for their area.

What you can use here

• A free hurricane checklist and household planning tools.
• A supplies planner to check what you have and compare options for missing essentials.
• Regional guides and selected county resources that point to local official information.
• Preparedness articles covering communication, renters, and household planning.

How we use sources

We link to official agencies and manufacturer information where relevant. Our sources and methodology, editorial policy, and product-selection approach explain how to interpret the material. Supply illustrations are not evidence of hands-on product testing.
