• Use a battery-powered or battery-backup carbon monoxide alarm.
• Carbon monoxide is invisible and odorless; never rely on smell to detect it.
• Headache, dizziness, nausea, or confusion may indicate poisoning. Get to fresh air immediately and call 911.
